Each year, the Academy organizes an annual event for members and supporters at The Explorers Club. The evening is hosted by Faanya Rose, a past president of The Explorers Club and a friend of the Academy.

This year’s event will feature the music of Alessandro Scarlatti (1660–1725) in anticipation of next season’s commemoration of 300 years since his death. Soprano Emily Donato will sing cantatas by Scarlatti on themes that embrace the spirit of The Explorers Club: ecology and travel.

This event is by invitation only. If you would like to attend and have not received an invitation, you can become a member to join us for this celebration.
