Artistic Director

I am the public face of the Academy and usually speak at performances, lead rehearsals, and play the violin. I also do a lot behind the scenes—make editions, contract musicians and translators, run payroll, prepare reports for our Board of Directors, make budgets, design the website and print advertisements, make our booklets, and of course privately prepare musically for the oratorio performances! It's a lot of work, but it has led us to where we are today, and I'm grateful for that journey.
Jeremy plays the baroque violin and founded the Academy of Sacred Drama in 2014. Noted for playing “virtuosically but with fluid grace” by The New York Times, Jeremy recently was the guest concertmaster of the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, Lyra Baroque Orchestra, and The American Classical Orchestra. He is currently exploring the relationship between music and prayer. Jeremy lives in Croton Falls, a hamlet in North Salem, New York.
